Description of exercise | The Putty thumb pull up exercise is a hand strengthening exercise that uses a soft, pliable material called putty. To perform this exercise, you will need a small ball of putty and a flat surface to work on. Start by placing the putty on the flat surface and using your thumb to press down into it, creating an indentation. Then, using your thumb and fingers, pull the putty up towards you in a pulling motion. Hold this position for a few seconds before releasing and repeating. This exercise helps to strengthen the muscles in your thumb and improve grip strength, making it useful for activities that require fine motor control and hand dexterity. |
