Description of exercise The incline slide triceps extend is an effective exercise for targeting the triceps muscles in the back of the arms. To perform this exercise, the individual sits on an incline bench with their feet planted firmly on the ground and a dumbbell in each hand. The arms are extended straight above the head, with the palms facing each other. The individual then slowly lowers the dumbbells down towards the back of their head, keeping their elbows close to their ears. They then use their triceps to push the dumbbells back up to the starting position. This exercise helps to strengthen and tone the triceps, improving overall arm strength and definition. It can be modified for different fitness levels by using lighter or heavier weights.

How to do exercise
  • Attach cables according to manufacturer instructions.
  • Sit facing foot rest.
  • Hold handle in hand with elbow bent, arm at side.
  • Straighten elbow, pulling handle downward.
  • Return and repeat.
  • Repeat series with opposite arm.
