Description of exercise The WC DB side lean advanced exercise is a challenging core workout that targets the obliques and helps to improve balance and stability. To perform this exercise, start by lying on your side with your legs extended and your elbow directly underneath your shoulder. Use your core muscles to lift your hips off the ground while keeping your body in a straight line. Hold this position for a few seconds before lowering back down. To make it more challenging, you can add a dumbbell or resistance band to the top hand and perform the exercise in a slow and controlled manner. This exercise helps to strengthen the core and improve overall body control.

How to do exercise
  • While sitting in wheelchair, position both arms to right side, holding weights.
  • Slowly lean trunk to right and return to start.
  • Position arms to left side and lean to left and return.
  • Repeat.
