Description of exercise | The tubing assist side arm raise is a resistance exercise that targets the muscles in the shoulders and arms. It involves using a resistance band or tubing, which is held in one hand while standing on the opposite end with the feet shoulder-width apart. The arm holding the tubing is raised to the side, with the elbow slightly bent, until it is parallel to the ground. The movement is controlled and slow, with the arm returning to the starting position in a controlled manner. This exercise helps to strengthen the deltoid muscles and improve shoulder stability. It can be modified to increase or decrease the resistance level by adjusting the tension of the tubing. |
