    When to avoid this exercise

  • The Tree exercise, also known as the Tree Pose or Vrikshasana, is a popular yoga pose that involves standing on one leg with the other leg bent and resting on the standing leg. While this exercise has many benefits, there are certain situations where it should be avoided.Firstly, individuals with balance issues or injuries to the legs, knees, or ankles should avoid this exercise as it can put strain on these areas and potentially worsen the injury. Pregnant women should also avoid this exercise as it can be difficult to maintain balance and could potentially harm the baby.Additionally, those with high blood pressure or vertigo should avoid the Tree exercise as it requires holding a single position for an extended period of time, which can increase blood pressure and trigger dizziness. It is always important to consult with a healthcare professional before attempting any new exercise, including the Tree pose, to ensure it is safe for your individual circumstances.
