Description of exercise | The stretch shoulder abduction exercise is a simple yet effective movement that helps to improve shoulder mobility and flexibility. To perform this exercise, stand with your feet shoulder-width apart and arms by your sides. Slowly raise one arm up and out to the side, keeping it straight and parallel to the ground. Hold for a few seconds before lowering the arm back down. Repeat on the other side. This exercise helps to stretch the shoulder muscles, including the deltoids and rotator cuff, which can become tight and immobile due to poor posture or repetitive movements. Regularly incorporating this exercise into your routine can help prevent shoulder injuries and improve overall shoulder function. |
