Description of exercise The Sitting Pool Quad Stretch is a simple and effective exercise that helps to stretch and strengthen the quadriceps muscles in the front of the thigh. To perform this exercise, sit on the edge of a pool with your legs dangling in the water. Hold onto the pool’s edge for balance and bring one foot up towards your buttocks, bending at the knee. Hold this position for 10-15 seconds, feeling a stretch in the front of your thigh. Slowly lower your leg back down and repeat on the other side. This exercise can help improve flexibility and stability in the legs, making it a great addition to any workout routine.

How to do exercise
  • Sit on step in pool.
  • Place foot flat on next step.
  • Gently move hips forward until a stretch is felt across top of thigh.
  • Relax and repeat with other leg.
