Description of exercise Short arc exercise is a type of physical therapy exercise that involves moving a joint through a limited range of motion. It is typically used for rehabilitation purposes to improve joint flexibility, strength, and stability. This exercise is performed by bending or straightening a joint, such as the knee or elbow, using a smaller range of motion than normal. It can also be done with the assistance of resistance bands or weights to increase the intensity. Short arc exercises are often recommended for individuals recovering from injuries or surgeries, as they help to gradually increase joint movement and improve muscle strength without putting too much strain on the joint.
