Description of exercise The Reclining Boat exercise is a core-strengthening workout that targets the abdominal muscles and improves balance and stability. To perform this exercise, lie on your back with your arms and legs extended. Engage your core muscles and slowly lift your arms and legs off the ground, keeping them straight. Your body should form a V-shape. Hold this position for a few seconds, then slowly lower your arms and legs back to the ground. Repeat for several reps. This exercise not only strengthens the core, but also helps improve posture and can be modified to target different muscle groups. It is a great addition to any workout routine for a stronger and more stable core.

How to do exercise
  • Lie on back.
  • Place arms behind head, hands clasped on elbows as shown.
  • Exhale and lift both legs to 45 degrees, while lifting shoulders up off floor.
