Description of exercise Passive LAQ (Lateral Arm Raise Quad) exercise is a low-impact strengthening exercise that targets the muscles in the arms, shoulders, and thighs. It involves lying on one side with the legs stacked and the arm extended straight above the head. The top leg is then lifted while keeping the knee straight, and the arm is raised towards the ceiling. This exercise is performed without any resistance and relies on the body’s own weight for strengthening. It helps improve upper body and core stability, balance, and posture. It is also beneficial for individuals recovering from injuries or those with limited mobility.
Do each time for how long Do this for 10 times, or do as many times instructed by your doctor.
Do daily for how many time Do daily two times, or do as per instructed by your doctor.
Do for how many days Do for two to three weeks, or do upto days told by your doctor.
How to do exercise
  • Sit in chair.
  • Begin with knee bent.
  • Other person places one hand under ankle, other hand on thigh, above knee.
  • Straighten knee upward through available range.
  • Return to starting position.
