To perform this exercise, one person lies on their back with one leg extended straight up in the air, while the other person stands behind them and gently pushes the extended leg towards the chest. The person lying down should feel a stretch in their hamstring muscles. This exercise can be modified to target different areas of the hamstring by adjusting the angle of the extended leg.
