Description of exercise Leg up back twist is a core strengthening exercise that targets the abdominal and oblique muscles. To perform this exercise, lie on your back with your legs extended straight up in the air. Place your hands behind your head and engage your abdominal muscles. Slowly lower your legs to one side, keeping them straight, while simultaneously twisting your torso in the opposite direction. Hold for a few seconds and then return to the starting position. Repeat on the other side. This exercise helps improve core stability, balance, and flexibility while also toning the abdominal and oblique muscles. It can be modified for different fitness levels by adjusting the range of motion and pace.

How to do exercise
  • Lie on back with legs bent and off floor.
  • Keep feet together and shoulders on floor.
  • Rotate legs from side to side.
  • Repeat.
