Description of exercise | Lat pull downs on the Total Gym (TG) exercise machine is a great way to target and strengthen the muscles in your back, particularly the latissimus dorsi (lats). This exercise involves sitting on the machine and pulling a bar attached to a cable pulley system down towards your chest while keeping your back straight and engaging your core. As you pull down, you will feel your lats working to bring the bar towards your chest.
