Description of exercise The Deltoid TRX narrow TY Fly is an upper body exercise that targets the deltoid muscles, which are located in the shoulders. This exercise is performed using a TRX suspension trainer and focuses on the narrow range of motion of the arms. To do this exercise, the individual stands facing the anchor point of the TRX with their arms extended out in front of them, forming a “Y” shape. They then pull their arms back and down, squeezing the shoulder blades together, before returning to the starting position. This exercise not only strengthens the deltoids, but also engages the core and stabilizer muscles for a full body workout.

How to do exercise
  • Stand with feet together, facing TRX as shown.
  • Leaning back with trunk straight, hold handles in hands, elbows straight, palms inward.
  • Pull arms back and out to sides, keeping elbows straight and return.
  • Next pull arms back and upward, keeping elbows straight.
  • Return and repeat sequence.
