Description of exercise The DB golf reverse takeaway drill is an exercise designed to improve the backswing and overall swing mechanics in golf. It involves using a dumbbell or weight to mimic the feeling of a proper backswing and promote muscle memory. The golfer starts by holding the dumbbell with both hands, arms extended in front of the body. They then rotate their upper body to the right, keeping the arms straight and the weight close to the body. This helps to engage the core and promote a full shoulder turn.
