Description of exercise | Cow face exercise is a yoga pose that stretches and strengthens the muscles in the arms, shoulders, and upper back. To perform this exercise, sit on the floor with your legs crossed and your back straight. Reach your right arm up and then bend it behind your head, placing your right hand between your shoulder blades. Then, reach your left arm behind your back and try to clasp your hands together. Hold this position for a few breaths, then release and switch sides. This exercise can help improve posture, reduce tension in the upper body, and increase flexibility in the shoulders and arms. It is also known to have a calming effect on the mind. |
