Description of exercise Carry outward facing exercise is a strength training exercise that focuses on the muscles in the shoulders, arms, and back. To perform this exercise, one needs to stand with feet shoulder-width apart and hold a dumbbell in each hand with palms facing outwards. The arms should be extended straight down at the sides with the dumbbells at thigh level. Then, engage the core and lift the dumbbells up and out to the sides, keeping the arms straight and the palms facing forward. Hold this position for a few seconds before slowly lowering the dumbbells back to the starting position. This exercise helps improve shoulder stability, posture, and overall upper body strength.
