Description of exercise | The caregiver elbow straighten stretch exercise is a simple yet effective way to improve flexibility and range of motion in the elbow joint. To perform this exercise, start by standing with your feet shoulder-width apart and your arms at your sides. Next, slowly raise one arm straight up towards the ceiling while keeping your elbow straight. Hold this position for a few seconds, then slowly lower your arm back down to your side. Repeat this movement with the other arm. This exercise can help alleviate stiffness and pain in the elbow, and can also improve overall arm strength. It is a great exercise for caregivers who may experience strain in their arms from lifting or carrying. |
