The caregiver then gently bends the person’s elbow, bringing their hand towards their shoulder. This stretch can be held for 10-15 seconds before releasing and repeating on the other arm. This exercise can help improve flexibility and range of motion in the arms, making daily tasks easier for the person being cared for. It can also help prevent muscle stiffness and pain. |
