Description of exercise The cane assist overhead twist exercise is a low-impact exercise that targets the upper body muscles, specifically the shoulders, arms, and back. It involves standing with feet shoulder-width apart and holding a cane or broomstick with both hands overhead. The arms are then slowly twisted to one side, keeping the core engaged and maintaining a straight posture. This movement helps to improve shoulder mobility and flexibility, as well as strengthen the muscles in the upper body. The cane provides additional support and stability, making it a suitable exercise for individuals with limited mobility or those recovering from an injury.
