Description of exercise Cane assist arm out exercise is a physical therapy exercise designed to improve arm strength and stability using a cane for support. How to do exercise
  • Lie on back with arms at side, elbows bent.
  • Hold cane in hands as shown.
  • Rotate involved arm away from body, pushing with the cane as needed with the uninvolved arm.
