Description of exercise Ball scaption exercise is a shoulder strengthening exercise that involves raising the arms in a diagonal position with a ball or weight in hand. It targets the muscles in the shoulders, specifically the supraspinatus and deltoid muscles. To perform this exercise, one must stand with feet shoulder-width apart, holding a ball or weight in each hand. The arms should be extended out to the sides at a 45-degree angle, with palms facing down. Slowly raise the arms up towards the ceiling, keeping them in the same diagonal position. Hold for a few seconds before slowly lowering the arms back to the starting position. This exercise helps improve shoulder stability and can be beneficial for athletes and individuals recovering from shoulder injuries.

How to do exercise
  • Place two balls on top of one another as shown.
  • Place involved arm on top of balls and create a bouncing motion with the hand.
