Description of exercise | The neck twist stretch is a simple and effective exercise that helps to loosen and stretch the muscles in the neck and upper back. To perform this exercise, sit or stand with your back straight and shoulders relaxed. Slowly turn your head to one side, keeping your chin parallel to the ground. Hold for a few seconds, then return to the center. Repeat on the other side. This exercise can also be done by gently pulling your head towards each shoulder for a deeper stretch. Neck twist stretches can help alleviate tension and stiffness in the neck, improve range of motion, and promote relaxation. It is important to perform this exercise slowly and gently to avoid strain or injury. |
