Description of exercise The WC floor Lat pushdown exercise is a strength training exercise that primarily targets the latissimus dorsi muscles, also known as the “lats.” It is performed using a cable machine with a straight bar attachment and a bench or mat on the floor. To perform the exercise, the individual starts by kneeling on the floor with the cable machine behind them. They then grab the bar with an overhand grip and push it down towards the floor while keeping their elbows close to their sides. This movement engages the lats and also works the triceps and shoulders. The WC floor Lat pushdown is a great exercise for building upper body strength and improving posture.

How to do exercise
  • Sit on floor between front wheels of wheelchair.
  • Place hands on front frame of chair.
  • Press down and push body upwards.
  • Lower and repeat.
