Description of exercise Cow face exercise is a yoga pose that stretches and strengthens the muscles in the arms, shoulders, and upper back. To perform this exercise, sit on the floor with your legs crossed and your back straight. Reach your right arm up and then bend it behind your head, placing your right hand between your shoulder blades. Then, reach your left arm behind your back and try to clasp your hands together. Hold this position for a few breaths, then release and switch sides. This exercise can help improve posture, reduce tension in the upper body, and increase flexibility in the shoulders and arms. It is also known to have a calming effect on the mind.
Do each time for how long Do this for 10 times, or do as many times instructed by your doctor.
Do daily for how many time Do daily two times, or do as per instructed by your doctor.
Do for how many days Do for two to three weeks, or do upto days told by your doctor.
How to do exercise
  • Sit with knees bent, soles of feet on floor.
  • Slide left foot under right knee, placing left foot next to right hip.
  • Slide right foot to left hip, with right knee resting on left thigh.
  • Lift left arm up next to left ear and bend elbow to reach back to middle of spine.
  • Move right arm behind back and grasp left hand.
  • Hold and repeat on other side.
