Description of exercise Breathing tall stand windmill exercise is a dynamic stretching exercise that helps improve flexibility, posture, and breathing control. The exercise begins with a deep inhale, followed by a slow exhale while bending at the waist and reaching down towards the right foot with the left hand. The right arm should reach up towards the ceiling, creating a diagonal line from the left hand to the right hand. The stretch is then repeated on the other side. This exercise helps open up the chest and shoulders, while also engaging the core muscles for stability.

How to do exercise
  • Stand with heels and toes together.
  • Exhale and let the body relax as shown.
  • Begin breathing in while lifting arms out to side and up, keeping palms upward.
  • Continue inhaling until arms are over head while you raise up on toes.
  • Exhale by reversing the movement.
  • Repeat.
