Description of exercise The Arm Figure 8 exercise is a dynamic movement that targets the muscles in the arms, shoulders, and core. To perform this exercise, stand with your feet shoulder-width apart and hold a dumbbell in each hand. Start by lifting your arms up to shoulder height, keeping your elbows slightly bent. Begin making a figure 8 motion with your arms, crossing them in front of your body and then behind your head. Keep your core engaged and your arms straight throughout the movement. This exercise not only strengthens the arms and shoulders, but also improves coordination and balance. It can be modified by using lighter or heavier weights, depending on your fitness level.

How to do exercise
  • Stand in waist deep water.
  • Legs should be shoulder distance apart, one leg in front of other, knees slightly bent.
  • Tighten abdominal muscles and keep back straight.
  • Place arms out to sides, elbows straight, hands in water.
  • Move arms in a figure 8 motion.
