Description of exercise Passive finger splint exercise is a form of rehabilitation exercise that involves the use of splints to support and protect injured or weak fingers. This exercise is performed without actively moving the fingers, hence the term “passive”. The splints are typically made of a lightweight material and are designed to keep the fingers in a specific position, promoting proper alignment and reducing strain on the injured area. The goal of passive finger splint exercise is to improve range of motion, reduce pain and stiffness, and aid in the healing process of the injured fingers. This exercise can also be used for conditions such as arthritis or after surgery to aid in recovery.
