Description of exercise | Squat assist exercise is a lower body strengthening exercise that targets the muscles in the thighs, hips, and buttocks. It is performed by standing with feet shoulder-width apart and squatting down as if sitting in a chair, keeping the back straight and the knees behind the toes. To make the exercise more challenging, a resistance band or a stability ball can be added. This exercise helps improve balance, stability, and overall lower body strength. It is also beneficial for improving daily activities such as walking, climbing stairs, and carrying heavy objects. Squat assist exercise is suitable for all fitness levels and can be modified to meet individual needs. |
