Description of exercise | Thumb composite stretch exercise is a stretching exercise that targets the muscles in the thumb and hand. To perform this exercise, start by placing your hand on a flat surface with your palm facing down. Then, use your other hand to gently pull your thumb back towards your wrist, feeling a stretch in the base of your thumb. Hold this stretch for 10-15 seconds and then release. Next, use your other hand to gently pull your thumb towards your pinky finger, feeling a stretch in the side of your thumb. Hold for 10-15 seconds and release. Repeat these stretches 2-3 times on each hand to improve flexibility and range of motion in the thumb. |
