To perform this exercise, stand with your feet shoulder-width apart and hold a cane or stick behind your back with both hands. Keep your elbows bent and your palms facing upward. Slowly lift the cane up towards the ceiling, squeezing your shoulder blades together. Hold for a few seconds, then lower the cane back down to the starting position.
