Description of exercise The head turn opposite arm track exercise is a simple yet effective movement that targets the muscles in the neck, shoulders, and upper back. To perform this exercise, stand with your feet shoulder-width apart and your arms by your sides. Begin by turning your head to one side while simultaneously raising the opposite arm up and over your head, as if you are tracing a line with your fingertips. Hold this position for a few seconds, then return to the starting position and repeat on the other side. This exercise helps improve range of motion, flexibility, and posture in the upper body. It can also help alleviate tension and stiffness in the neck and shoulders.

How to do exercise
  • Hold arm straight out in front at eye level, thumb up.
  • Keep eye focused on thumb.
  • Move arm to the left, turn head to right.
  • Keep eye contact on thumb.
  • Continue, moving thumb to right and head to left.
