Description of exercise | Straw breathing exercise is a simple yet effective technique that can help improve breathing and reduce stress and anxiety. To do this exercise, you will need a straw and a glass of water. Sit in a comfortable position and take a deep breath through your nose. Then, place the straw in your mouth and slowly exhale through it, making a humming sound. As you exhale, imagine blowing bubbles in the water. This will help you take longer, more controlled breaths. Repeat this for a few minutes, focusing on your breath and the humming sound. This exercise can help calm the mind, increase oxygen flow, and promote relaxation. |
