Description of exercise BK tall kneel/walk exercise is a strengthening and balance exercise for individuals with below-knee amputations. It also helps individuals get accustomed to bearing weight on their residual limb and prepares them for activities such as climbing stairs and getting up from the ground. Do each time for how long Do this for 10 times, or do as many times instructed by your doctor.

How to do exercise
  • Begin in tall kneeling position.
  • Walk forward 2-3 steps using opposite arm and leg.
  • Walk backwards 2-3 steps.
