Description of exercise | Cane assist side to side exercise is a low-impact exercise that involves using a cane for support while moving side to side. To perform this exercise, stand with your feet shoulder-width apart and hold onto a cane with one hand. Slowly shift your weight to one side, allowing the cane to support you, and then return to the starting position. Repeat on the other side. This exercise can help improve balance, strengthen the core and lower body muscles, and increase range of motion in the hips and spine. It can also be modified to suit different fitness levels and needs. |
