Description of exercise | DB double side arm raise is a strength training exercise that targets the shoulder muscles. It involves standing with feet shoulder-width apart and holding a dumbbell in each hand. The arms are then raised out to the side, keeping a slight bend in the elbows, until they are parallel to the ground. The movement is then reversed, slowly lowering the arms back down to the starting position. This exercise helps to improve shoulder stability and strength, as well as targeting the deltoid muscles. It can be modified by using lighter or heavier weights and can also be performed seated or standing. It is important to maintain proper form and control throughout the movement to avoid injury. |
