Description of exercise Assist wrist flex exercise is a simple movement that targets the muscles in the forearm and wrist. To perform this exercise, sit on a chair with your feet flat on the ground and your arms resting on your thighs. Hold a light dumbbell or a water bottle in your hand with your palm facing up. Slowly curl your wrist upwards, bringing the weight towards your forearm. Hold for a few seconds and then slowly lower the weight back down. This exercise helps to strengthen the wrist flexors and can improve grip strength. It is often used in physical therapy to rehabilitate wrist injuries and can also be beneficial for athletes and those who use their hands and wrists frequently in their daily activities.

  • Place forearm on table, hand off edge, palm down, as shown.
  • Move hand upward.
